Donald Trump, the man who has secured almost all the swing states, is set to become the President of the United States for the second time after defeating Kamala Harris. At 78, Trump would become the oldest president to take the oath. As history would remember him, he would be the first president in 132 years to win another term in the White House.

Trump addressed his victory speech in an atmosphere charged with emotions, electrifying energy and historical significance. His victory address was celebrated by a huge uproar in the crowd who cheered him and congratulated him on this historical mandate. He was joined by close allies that included his wife Melania Trump, vice-presidential running mate JD Vance and a host of campaign staff. Trump thanked the American people expressed profound gratitude for the support extended by his supporters and described the current scenario as akin to a “Magnificient Political Victory”.

Trump also acknowledged the importance of this victory and vowed to focus on issues that were central to his campaign including Strengthening Border Security and Revitalising the Economy. He likened his party’s historical comeback to an American desire to witness change and embrace unity. During his speech, Trump thanked his key allies as well – J.D Vance who he highlighted will serve as the next Vice-President of the U.S., Elon Musk, his wife and his kids.

Trump also briefly touched upon the assassination attempt on him in July, where a bullet grazed his ear while he was at a campaign rally. He said his survival meant a specific purpose and he will pour all his efforts to deliver on his promises and pave the way for a strong and prosperous America. He noted that his administration would follow the motto: “Promises made, Promises Kept”.
